The Brief
SafeBeyond approached Exponential before launching their product.
The goals were to get thousands of free trial customers (mainly in North America), while keeping a very tight cost per acquisition.
Following a successful launch, the company asked us to devise a B2B campaign to get insurance and wealth management companies to purchase bulk licenses.
Exponential approach
Apart from a few clear competitors, the digital legacy niche was just starting to make headway. Because of this, paid search was not useful as the primary channel, so we decided to create a Facebook Ads campaign.
We had to test numerous targeting options, as little was known about the target market.
- Our Ads Manager had literally 250+ ad groups.
- We tested dozens of creatives and landing pages.
- Over the next year, the campaigns brought thousands of leads while maintaining the target cost per acquisition.
- Following this, we started with Paid Search to target related services and competitor brand names.
- For B2B, we launched LinkedIn Ads campaigns.
- We targeted professionals whose Job Title contained ‘Life Insurance’ and ‘Wealth Management.’
- We used both Sponsored Content and Text Ads.
